“The City of Tallahassee is pleased.” – Rolando Gutierrez, Rolando J. Gutierrez, Architects.

The East Van Buren Facility was being redesigned by Rolando J. Gutierrez, Architects. Owner Rolando Gutierrez needed a construction team that shared his architecture firms’ principal service philosophy of empowering clients, “to demand more than anyone has the right to expect.” WestScott Construction Inc., known for getting the job done right the first time, was a perfect match for the East Van Buren renovation project.

The renovation was comprehensive and thorough. Westcott supervised the demolition and replacement of the facility’s Ground Floor (approx. 3,027 sq ft.). New doors, ceilings, and plumbing fixtures were all taken out by WestScott’s proficient team of experts.

WestScott team successfully accomplished:

  • 3,027 sq ft. Ground Floor Demolition and Rebuild
    • Replaced all-access floorin
    • New doors
    • New ceilings
  • New Partitions
  • New Acoustical Installations
  • Control Room Renovation
  • Electrical Room Renovations
  • Renewed All Existing Wall Coverings
  • Break Room Renovations
  • Restroom Renovations
    • New plumbing fixtures

“This was our first time working with WestScott, and the experience was the smoothest as any construction project can be,” Gutierrez explained from his Tallahassee office. It’s a partnership he looks forward to revisiting in the near future. “It took us both of us working together, us designing it, and WestScott building it. I would work with WestScott at any time.” -Rolando Gutierrez
